nnnnBruker Optics offers a variety of beamsplitters for range
nnnncoverage extensions.
nnnnBruker Optics offers a wide range of beamsplitters to pro-
nnnnvide maximum experimental flexibility and optimal results.
nnnnThe beamsplitters cover the Far-IR (orTHz) up to the VIS/
nnnnUV regions. The actual range coverage will vary depending
nnnnon the instrument specifications. These beamsplitters are
nnnnmade from the highest quality materials and feature Bruker

nnnnFig. 1 shows the standard mid-IR KBr beamsplitter (T303, red curve]
nnnnmeasured with standard mid-IR source and DTGS detector. For the
nnnngreen curve the broadband KBr beamsplitter (T304) and the NIR
nnnnTungsten lamp were used. The black spectrum shows the characte-
nnnnristics of the near-IR beamsplitter (T401) measured with the tungs-
nnnnten source and the room temperature InGaAs detector.
nnnnFig.2 shows single beam spectra in the visible spectral range using
nnnnVERTEX 70 with a Si diode (D510/B) and near IR/VIS Tungsten sour-
nnnnce. In order to enhance the sensitivity above 20,000cm-1 an optica
nnnnhigh pass filter and larger aperture size were selected
nnnnOptics' proprietary coating for ultimate performance. Easy
nnnnmanual beamsplitter exchange is available on the TENSOR 37
nnnnand the VERTEX series spectrometers. Beamsplitters are
nnnnautomatically adjusted and recognized by the system and
nnnncorrect experimental parameters are loaded.
nnnnSpecially optimized beamsplitters for the IFS 125HR series
nnnnhigh resolution FT-IR spectrometers are available on re-
nnnnquest.
