Loaded with safety features, our new Transtig 170Pi single-phase
inverter is more efficient and easier to control than ever. VRD ensures
voltage at the Stick before you start is just 8V DC, integrated Fail To
Safe will shut the unit down if voltage exceeds 35V DC whilst not
welding and insulated plastic housing with an IP23S rating ensures
your safety when working in confined spaces or outdoors.
With Stick (MMAW), Lift TIG (GTAW), HF TIG (GTAW) and Pulse (in
TIG mode), this robust unit is suitable for a wide range of industries;
construction, general maintenance, building, on-site repair – just to
name a few. Specifically those welders that work with specialised
stainless steel and pipework, or those in fabrication workshops or the
food and beverage sectors doing intricate TIG work will love this unit.
The 170Pi is also suitable for all electrode types including cellulose.
At a shade over 11.5kg, you can throw one of these over your
shoulder or in the back of the ute and get straight on with the job
