nnnnefficiency. Having all of that combined with good beam quality, is
nnnnwhat sets the Continuum's SLOPO apart.
nnnnOur extensive OPO experience has given Continuum a
nnnnunique advantage in understanding the pump beam characteristics
nnnnrequired for successful OPO performance. The SLOPO Plus can
nnnnbe pumped with our standard Surelite lasers, but more recently
nnnnContinuum introduced the Surelite EX - a designated OPO pump
nnnnsource.
nnnnThis Type I BBO broadband OPO boasts several unique
nnnnfeatures. A double pass optical cavity design takes advantage of the
nnnnpump polarization and resonate wave for efficient optical parametric
nnnnoscillation, and a fully hermetically sealed oscillator ensures crys-
nnnntal longevity. One inclusive mirror set gives complete access to the
nnnnsignal and idler tuning range and optional computer control means
nnnntruly hands free operation.
