FORWARD AIR RE-FUELLING POINT (FARP)
A 900LPM pump and Filter Water Separator (FWS) is designed to be used as part of the Tactical Fuel Handling Equipment (TFHE) for supply of aviation fuel in forward areas. The
system meets API and Def-Stan requirements for the delivery of fuels.

The DESMI SP-D3-2 self priming
centrifugal pump is designed to give a
flow of 900 litres/min at 65 psi (4.5
bar). This will allow refuelling of 2
medium helicopters simultaneously at
a distance of up to 200m from the
pump with a controlled pressure at the
nozzles of 45 psi

Driven by an enhanced safety, twin
cylinder, diesel engine capable of
running on F34/38 the pump assembly
complete is less than 100 kg in weight
and has an operating temperature
range in standard format of -5ºC to
5C
+52ºC and an altitude range of up to

accommodated by the addition of a
low temperature pack (+ 24 kg

The system is designed to operate with 2 x 45m3 or 4 x 3m3 (SF Ops) or up to 12 x
2000 Litre APFC as the storage element The Set consists off: One 900 LPM pump set
with control system, one 1000LPM FWS, one Y vale with valves, 2 x 70m lay flat hose,
2 x Hose End Pressure Controllers HEPC, 2 Nozzles fuelling and 20m refuelling hose.
