Remote area refuelling
DESMI Model S 50-35-135
being a horizontal, self
g
priming, centrifugal pump
having a cast iron casing &
impeller, stainless shaft and
carbon/ceramic/viton
mechanical seal. Pump and
engine mounted in a steel
roll cage with lifting handles.
Pump driven by a Yanmar model L48 air cooled, direct injection diesel engine rated 3.1kW continuous at 3600 rpm. Engine complete with recoil hand start,
air cleaner, exhaust manifold & spark arrestor/silencer, engine oil and fuel filters, speed control and engine mounted fuel tank.
DESMI -FHS have produced for remote area refuelling, a cost effective, lightweight piece of equipment that is built on proven sound commercial based
technology. The system consists of a Pump / Engine unit described above, Filter Water Separator (FWS) Series 22 or Monitor Vessel capable of meeting
all international regulations and API 1581 5th edition for water and particle removal with a go/no go differential pressure indicator and manual water drain
valve. Hoses are light weight layflat hose with armoured sleeve covering if required for continuous operation on concrete or very rough areas these
connected to a unique lightweight manifold with butterfly valves to ensure the necessary control, a pistol hose delivery nozzle with all light weight unisex
couplings. The system can use 2000 litre Air Portable Fuel Containers or 5000 litre pillow tanks as the fuel store. As an option we can provide a blow up
environmental bunded area to ensure that all leakage is contained. The system is electrically bonded throughout.
The system was designed as a low cost unit with a reduced logistical footprint for transportation. The pump / engine unit can be used for bulk fuel transfers
without the FWS.
