iFLEX is an integrated control system for all types of natural gas engines and compressors. The control system architecture features Allen-Bradley ControlLogix or
CompactLogix programmable automation controllers which communicate data to
PanelView Plus or PanelView CE operator terminals. iFLEX systems are easily
integrated with local station or remote management systems.
iFLEX has a wide variety of applications for natural gas compressors – It can be
used for engine health monitoring and safety shutdowns, unit start/stop sequencing,
speed control, turbocharger control, ignition timing, compressor loading/unloading,
and unit valve sequencing.
Improved System Performance
The Enginuity iFLEX system features a unique safety shutdown, speed control,
on-line diagnostics, trending, and air/fuel ratio package that is fully customizable
and expandable. It uses sophisticated computer algorithms to accurately control,
measure, and record critical engine and compression parameters like speed, air/fuel
ratio, vibration, compressor, cylinder pressure, and ignition timing. From the data
you can assess the health of your equipment, plan preventive maintenance, and
improve overall operational performance.
Diagnostics and Trending
The iFLEX system is designed to provide key information from the engine or
compressor in order to detect changes or deterioration in its operating condition
and performance.
Advanced Human Machine Interface
The iFLEX HMI package is simple to navigate and delivers all the information
an operator needs to make informed decisions in an easy-to-understand
format. The HMI package comes complete with many standard screens or can
be customized to meet your exact specifications.
Integration with Other Safety and Control Systems
iFLEX interfaces via Modbus ethernet with existing safety shutdown and control
systems. Alarm and shutdown triggers can be set based on real time information about the health of your engine or compressor. In many applications, this
can lesson the chance of catastrophic failures.
