D-R’s Envision Health for Journal Bearings
Vibration analysis and diagnostic aids in the early detection of incipient problems in rotating equipment. Rotor or shaft vibration analysis can help in
recognizing equipment problems one to nine months before a problem deteriorates to unit failure or lost production. By having advanced warning and
problem diagnosis, equipment operators can plan ahead for operation and
maintenance activities.
The Envision Health JB vibration data acquisition and software system
provides comprehensive alarm and diagnostics for deep insight into journal
bearing machines. Envision Health JB is based on proximity probe displacement measurement for comprehensive analysis under transient or steady
state conditions. When combined with performance analysis, these tools
form the major components of a predictive maintenance program.
With proximity based vibration monitoring, a user can detect a wide array of
mechanical issues, including:
• Rotor imbalance, misalignment and bow
