Large Format Range – Easy Change-Over
The FA 40 processes pre-made block-bottom paper bags in
fixed-cycle operation, but can also be adapted for other
suitable bag types, e.g. side-gusseted bags without blockbottom, and different bag materials.

In the standard version, the machine is equipped with a transport rake system which is easily adjustable to different bag
sizes, a synchronization device for combination with fillers or
net weighers, and automatic central lubrication.

One bag is handled per machine cycle. During each cycle,
one bag is taken from the magazine and opened by vacuum
suckers connected to an integrated vacuum pump and easily
adjustable to the bag size. During the filling process, the bag
opened in the filling station is held by pneumatically operated
clamps and subsequently put down on the transport and
vibration track.

The operating speed of the cam-controlled machine is continuously variable.

Following product settlement, the bag is presented to the
standard pre-folding facility which, depending on filling level
and type of bag closure, ensures cam-controlled pre-folding
above the filling level.

Depending on the requirements, the machine can be
equipped with additional features, such as intensified vibration, additional check weigher system, high-efficiency dust
evacuation connections and special features for quicker format change-over.
Depending on the product and the type of closure, the
machine is equipped with an integrated or downstream,
continuously operating closing machine, e.g. for stitched or
glued closures.
