nnnnFisher® 3024C Diaphragm Actuator
nnnnThe 3024C actuator is a compact spring opposed
nnnnpneumatic diaphragm actuator incorporating a cast
nnnnyoke mounting and is suitable for general purpose
nnnnactuation of globe valves. It will position the valve plug
nnnnin response to varying controller or valve positioner
nnnnpneumatic output signals applied to the actuator
nnnndiaphragm. The 3024C actuator can be assembled as
nnnneither direct-acting or reverse-acting and provides
nnnndependable and on-off or throttling operation of
nnnnautomatic control valves.
nnnnFeatures
nnnn■ Application Versatility—With eight different
nnnnconfigurations available, there is an actuator size to
nnnnmeet your needs. Multi-spring combinations allow
nnnnfor accurate selection of actuator thrust and valve
nnnntravel.
nnnn■ Reversible Action—The simple design allows the
nnnnchange of action from direct to reverse acting
nnnnwithout the requirement for extra parts. Change of
nnnnaction can be easily made in the field.
nnnn■ High Thrust Capability—The moulded diaphragm
nnnnand high strength casings allow for a maximum
nnnncasing pressure of 6 bar, enabling a high stem thrust
nnnnfor a given size diaphragm.

nnnn■ Rugged Construction—The cast steel yoke and
nnnnheavy duty steel casings provide stability,
nnnnprotection against corrosion, longevity, and
nnnnresistance against misuse.
nnnn■ Severe Temperature Applications—Through careful
nnnnselection of construction materials, this actuator
nnnncan be used for a wide range of ambient
nnnntemperature conditions from a minimum of-40°C
nnnnto a maximum of +82°C.
nnnn■ Compact Design—The compact size minimizes
nnnnweight and space needed.
nnnnPositive Connections—Split block stem connection
nnnnprovides a solid transfer of motion while allowing
nnnneasy mounting and no linkages that create lost
nnnnmotion or inaccurate valve positioning.
