nnnnApplication
nnnnThe Sterling SI HI AEH pump is a self-priming side channel
nnnnpump capable of handling gas along with the medium. The
nnnnAEH is a Side Channel pump as per DIN EN 734 and operates
nnnnat a low noise level.
nnnnThe AEH pumps were especially developed for difficult
nnnnapplications in all industry sectors and are thus applied when
nnnnpure, turbid or aggressive media have to be pumped under
nnnndifficult conditions without any problems.
nnnnThe different material possibilities with uniform dimensions
nnnnand performance characteristics as well as the standard
nnnnexchangeable components, make the AEH particularly
nnnnrecommendable as universal pump for all possible pumping
nnnnproblems. This results in a wide application range in many
nnnnsectors such as;

nnnnPetro-Chemical industry,

nnnnDesign
nnnnPumps of the series AEH have a segmental type construction
nnnnwith open vane wheel impellers. The pumps is available in a
nnnnnormal industrial design with one liquid surrounded slide
nnnnbearing and one ball bearing or in a heavy-duty construction
nnnnwith a double ball bearing design.
nnnnThe program comprises 6 sizes each with 1-8 stages. The
nnnnexisting material design allows an optimum rating for the
nnnnrespectively desired performance range and the pumping
nnnnmedium.
nnnnThe applied hydraulic components are from our Modular Side
nnnnChannel system (interchangeability of parts).

nnnnSuction and discharge branch point radially upwards.

nnnnThe flanges correspond to DIN EN 1092-2 / PN 40.
nnnnFlange design as per DIN 2512 with groove or drilled
nnnnaccording to ANSI 150 or 300 lbs is basically possible.
nnnnBearing
nnnnEither by a ball bearing and a liquid surrounded sleeve
nnnnbearing (design A) or by two ball bearings (design B). The
nnnnball bearings are according to DIN 625 and greased for life.
nnnnDirection of rotation
nnnnClockwise, when looking at the pump from the drive end.
nnnnAnti-clockwise is possible.
nnnnShaft sealing
nnnnThe shaft can be sealed by a stuffing box or a mechanical
nnnnseal conform DIN EN 12756.
nnnnThe shaft sealing is also available in a design suitable for
nnnnheating or cooling of the stuffing box or the mechanical seal.
nnnnDouble mechanical seal (back-to-back as well as tandem)
nnnnor a quench design with throttle bush are available upon
nnnnrequest.
nnnnThe AEH can also be supplied with a magnetic coupling (for
nnnninformation see the separate catalogue).
