of CO for early detection of potential fires in your coal
processing, transportation and storage. The complete
CPDS includes up to eight F-7400 CPDS extractive probe
systems, a sample handling system, a F-6700 CPDS
Analyzer and system controls.
The F-6700 CPDS Analyzer is the heart of the system
and continuously monitors dry CO concentrations from
up to eight individual points in mills, silos or bunkers. The
19” rack mounted analyzer contains the user interface,
system controller and a manifold with up to sixteen
electrochemical sensors configured one pair per sample

The analyzer houses up to eight dual sensor arrangements
which are designed for continuous monitoring of CO.
The sixteen electrochemical sensors are mounted as
a set of two per channel allowing 30 minute sensor
switching to refresh the inactive cells with zero gas,
lengthening the life of the sensors while eliminating
system time sharing. The sensors are overlapped

sensor values are within a preset range of each
other, the switching is completed and the cycle is
repeated.
