3D VIEW
In addition to single-plane reconstructions,
Octopus can reconstruct and display 3D volumes
based on a user-selected number of reconstructed
planes within a depth of interest.
Volumes can be zoomed, rotated and panned
through, with user control over levels of
transparency, brightness, color mapping, and
contouring
POWERFUL ANALYSIS
Once the volume is reconstructed it's a breeze to
slice through it using orthogonal or oblique slice
planes. The sizes of objects in slices can be
interactively measured to the accuracy of less than
a micron.

inwater imaging
Particles and objects can be detected, counted
and measured in the reconstructed hologram.
Octopus calculates particle size distribution
histogram for the detected particles. The width and
height of every detected particle is shown in a
table. Detection parameters, such as intensity
threshold, minimum and maximum size of the
particles to detect, and whether to detect round
particles only, can be selected.
