nnnnThe NI 9235/9236 Measurement System measures 8 quarter bridge channels at 10 kS/s with 24-bit resolution, sending data to a host
nnnnPC over USB, Ethernet or 802.11 Wi-Fi.
nnnnMeasurement Bundle Overview
nnnnThe hardware for an NI CompactDAQ single measurement bundle consists of a USB, Ethernet, or 802.11 W-Fi chassis and one of
nnnnthe over 50 NI C Series measurement-specific modules. These small rugged bundles are ideal for portable or distributed
nnnnmeasurements.
nnnnChassis
nnnnThe chassis controls the timing for the module and handles communication with the PC over the USB, Ethernet, or 802.11 W-Fi bus.
nnnnAdditionally, all NI CompactDAQ chassis include four counter/timers that you can access through a digital I/O module like the NI 9401.
nnnnModule
nnnnNI 9235 and NI 9236 quarter-bridge strain gage modules are designed for higher-channel-count, dynamic strain measurement
nnnnsystems based on NI CompactDAQ, CompactRIO, or other compatible C Series hardware. Wth eight simultaneous channels per
nnnnmodule, you can make more measurements with a smaller, more channel-dense system. Simultaneous sampling is important in
nnnnhigher speed acquisitions for which you need to compare results from different locations at a particular instant in time, such as impact
nnnntests.
nnnnFor a bridge-based module with a higher sampling speed or the ability to implement full-, half-, and quarter-bridge measurements, try
nnnnthe NI 9237 C Series simultaneous bridge module.
