nnnnThe Spectra-Physics Excelsior One™ series is a new line of UV, visible, and near IR CW
nnnnlasers based on Spectra-Physics It's in the Box™design with the laser head and controller
nnnncombined In a single, compact package. The Excelsior One series Is available as free space
nnnnand fiber-coupled lasers that Include eleven different wavelength and delivers up to
nnnn500 mW of average power. The series Includes both direct diode and diode-pumped solid
nnnnstate (DPSS) laser technology In a compact package offering multi-mode and single
nnnnfrequency options using the exact same mechanical footprint.
nnnnEleven Wavelengths in One Footprint- 375,405,445,473,488,532, 542, 561, 642,
nnnn785, and 1064 nm
nnnnThe Excelsior One series Is based on patented techniques for Its DPSS offerings at 473, 532,
nnnn542, 561, and 1064 nm. Direct diode models -with the option of high speed modulation and
nnnnserial software Interface - are available at 375, 405,445, 488, 642, and 785 nm.
nnnnThe Excelsior One lasers are Ideal for customers who rely on modularity In their Instrument
nnnndesign. With the Excelsior One series, customers can choose among over fifty different
nnnnversions In a single footprint using a single supply voltage. This enables maximum
nnnnndependence and the fewest design constraints.
nnnnFiber-Coupled Models
nnnnThe Excelsior One series Is also offered with fiber-coupled options from 405 nm to 1064 nm
nnnnusing single mode, polarization maintaining fibers. These fiber-coupled lasers offer
nnnnoutstanding power stability In harsh operating environments, and a polarization extinction
nnnnratio (PER) of less than -30 db over the specified operating temperature range. The fiber-
nnnncoupled Excelsior One lasers are terminated with a FC/APC connector
