Analog Outputs for Weather Transmitters
by using serial converter 7470

The serial converter 7470 is designed to add analog outputs for
measuring instruments which have only serial output. Typical application for 7470 is the multi-input weather transmitter WXT520 sending
several weather parameters over serial bus. The 7470 is easy to
congure to give analog outputs from all measuring sensors or calculated parameters of Vaisala weather transmitter WXT520. The serial
converter 7470 can be placed up to 1 km from the
transmitter with serial bus RS485.
The 7470 has four analog output channels for serial input RS485 or
RS232. More analog outputs are available by using several 7470
converters with serial bus RS485. The converter supports Modbus
RTU, Nokeval SCL and ASCII protocols. The 7470 is easy to
congure with MekuWin congurationsoftware on the computer.
