flexibility and possibilities to simulate different kinds of industrial crystallization processes.
A clear dynamic overview of the process (temperature, flow, barrel speed and pressure) is given on the touch screen
with a high resolution. During startup, processing and cleaning, the operator is guided by the PLC.

When using the CRA226 for crystallization of oil and fats the quality of product is based of consistency, structure,
plasticity, hardness and spreadability. To reach these conditions the recipe and the process equipment determine the
quality of the product. As per product the recipe and the process parameters are different, it is important to maximum
flexibility. For the processing equipment, the cooling temperature capacity and control, the pressure in the system and
the mechanical force during processing is important to the crystallization. Therefore the system can be supplied with
multiple SSHE barrels (‘’Votator’’), pinworker(s) (‘’Unit-B’’) and different lengths of resting tubes at pressures up to 50
bar(g).
Ice cream freezer
When using the CRA226 for producing continuous ice cream, you include the air-incorporation system and the flow
meter to the basic unit to have a system that automatically controls the air overrun (up to 200%).
Both processes can also be combined in one system to have even more flexibility in your processes.

The basic unit is a reliable and robust system that consists of a feed hopper, product pump, touch screen and one
cooling barrel. The basic unit can be extended with additional accessories enabling you to simulate your specific
process. The hygienic design of OMVE SSHE minimizes contamination during processing. The system has a CIP mode
and the barrels are easy to disassemble for visual inspection.
