Lamp construction:
BendLED fixture is extremely flat light (30.7 mm) with a high degree of protection IP68 suitable for
illuminating the work area of machines with pressurized jets of cooling fluid. Lamp body consists of
extruded aluminum profile and two plastic ends. Cover tempered glass thickness of 4 mm is attached to the
body side moldings with a dovetail profile. Robotically-applied silicone seal provides excellent sealing the
interior lights. Gap between the glass cover and the housing is covered in full length aluminum side rails.
BendLED fixture is supplied with custom connection cable length. Cable gland may be discharged
either to the side (type S) or down (D version). Design D is suitable for mounting on a metal bar when in
the working of the machine is only a lamp and power supply is hidden. Around the glands in the design D is
a groove for sealing "O" ring. Luminaire can also be fitted with a robust plastic joint that allows fine tuning
of beam maximum in the desired direction.
The optical system consists of special plastic aspherical optical elements for symmetric beam
(±30°) or asymmetric radiation ±30° with a maximum of 45° from the vertical axis. Asymmetric design of
optical elements is particularly suitable for mounting on the side wall or ceiling of NC/CNC machines. With
proper installation luminous flux is concentrated towards the workspace and does not dazzle. Fixture is not
necessary to rotate and thus shaving and other contaminants in the space behind cannot accumulate.
