Gap tracking on butt-gap
QuellTech 2D/3D Laser Sensors can be used in
automatted process measurement in welding
machines. The sensors can measure dimensional
features of almost any object. The Quelltech sensors
have following features:
+ contactless
+ precise 3-D data
+ process stable
+ fast
+ robust against ambient light and heat
+ work on difficult surfaces (glossy, transparent)
+ small form factor
+ lightweight
+ ethernet connection
+ mechanically robust

QuellTech offers Q4 Series 2D/3D Laser Sensors
especially for welding applications.
Pre process: The Q4 series can serve tracking the gap
close to the welding process and guiding the welding
machine on target. Especial options make the sensor
robust against ambient light from the process.
Exchangable protection glasses and coolers make it
suitable for this harsh environment
Post process: The Q4 series can also be used trailing
closed behind the process to inspect the weld bead for
errors like pores, undercut etc. This allows the process
to be stopped immediately if some error occurs, thus
minimizing waste and time.
Changes may occur without notice
