nnPRODUCT DESCRIPTION nnSingle Probe Feedthrough Assembly
nnThe MPG/PG series of feedthroughs will allow single probes/elements to pass through an entry point into a vessel. The method of sealing is based upon soft sealant technology which employs various materials, selected according to the process conditions and media that will be met. When applying torque to the cap nut, the follower is forced to move in a longitudi-nal direction. This in turn forces the sealant against an internal seat machined into the bore of the gland body. The resultant force causes the sealant to de-form and close down on the probe/element and ex-pand into the bore of the body producing a pressure/vacuum barrier. With the exception of Lava and Gra-foil, the other sealants are re-usable. Applications : thermocouples, RTDΒs, analytical probes, sensor elements, capillary tubes. Product code : MPG/PG

Feedthrough body : machined from 316 stainless steel hexagonal bar stock (also available in Incoloy, Hastelloy and Monel). Follower and cap nut : in 303 stainless steel. Sealants: Teflon, Vitonή, Neoprene, Lava or Grafoil. Probe/element diameters : from 1.0mm up to 44.45mm ( also available in Imperial sizes). Process connections : Δ, ܔ, ݔ, ޔ, 1, 1Լ, 1Խ and 2Ԕ NPT depending on body size (BSP and other thread forms are also available).
