Fitting Instructions
Separate the fitting. Place the half with the
bolts under the damaged connection.
Place the other half on top of the connection, locating the bolts through the four
holes. Loosely fit and hand tighten the nuts
and washers.
Ensure that the two halves line up and are
securely located round the pipe. Tighten the
bolts further to a torque of between 30 and
40Nm, in a diametrically opposing
sequence.

Safety
As with all industrial products it is important
to take adequate safety precautions such as
the use of adequate protective clothing like
gloves, overalls, eye protection and safety
footwear during installation, use and maintenance.

The UPE MiniSoc Repair Collar can be used
to effectively repair spigot and socket joints
damaged by misalignment due to ground
movement, cracked or broken sockets or displaced or damaged seals. Once installed the
collar is designed to allow for angular movement, avoiding any further damage to the
pipe and also increases the end load resistance of the original connection.
The UPE MiniSoc Repair Collar fully encapsulates the damaged joint for a secure and
permanent repair and is designed for all
potable water and waste water applications
up to a working pressure of 7 bar.
A resilient and corrosion resistant protective
coating enhances the life span of the fitting.
