Problems / Issues
• Customers RS unit not displaying pump status or low level alarms to
vehicle dashboard.
• RS unit not responding to manual override function.
Solution
• Replacement of RSG sub-assembly to existing RS system.
(Follow Steps Below)
Step 1
Before carrying out any work on the system disconnect the power
supply to the pump, it is strongly recommended that this should be
done by isolating the battery of the vehicle.

1.) Once isolated, disconnect the 8-way male connector by rotating the
bayonet cap anti-clockwise. Once the bayonet has been completely
unscrewed, gently pull the connector out of the socket.
2.) Next remove the 08mm nylon pipe from the push fitting outlet locat-
ed on the sub-assembly of the pumping unit. Preparations should be
made to catch / soak up any excess oil that may leak out of the outlet
pipe.
Step 2
Tools Required : 3mm Hexagonal Key (Allen Key)
After the removal of all process connections from the sub-assembly, pro-
ceed to remove the six M4x25 cap head bolts securing the sub-assembly
to the reservoir housing.
