The innovative design of the iBeam
smart WS ensures wavelength
stabilized performance not susceptible
to vibrations or ambient temperature
drifts. It easily maintains its performance
even under harsh environmental
conditions. In addition the iBeam
smart WS shares TOPTICA’s compact
iBeam smart OEM platform, a fieldproven laser series with a large installed
base enabling demanding applications
worldwide. Active thermal stabilization
of the laser diode ensures constant
lasing conditions and an excellent beam
pointing stability. The iBeam smart’s
flexible, μ-processor based electronics
will make system integration a snap,
as all laser parameters can be set and
controlled via the RS 232 interface.
The iBeam smart WS takes wavelength
stabilized diodes to new power levels,
while keeping an ultra compact footprint
and the known ease of use of a standard
diode laser.
