Capacitors for Military/Aerospace Applications
Cornell Dubilier Electronics excels with capacitor technology to meet the demanding
requirements for military and aerospace applications.
Our capacitors are used
extensively in power supplies, inverters and communication systems for commercial
and military aircraft and sea-going vessels. Ground based applications include radar
systems, two-way mobile radios and DC link for inverters and power supplies used in
military trucks and tanks. CDE has a full range of testing capabilities per MIL STD
202 requirements.

Type MLP and MLS Flatpack
The MLP’s high energy storage and box shape make it perfect for voltage hold up or filtering in military
SEM-E modules, telecom circuit packs and computer cards. The MLP delivers up to 20 joules of energy
storage in a ½”height with 50 years life at 45 ºC. Housed in a stainless case, type MLS extends the
performance of MLP from a max operating temperature of 85ºC to 125ºC with 100 year life.
