nnnnDESCRIPTION
nnnnThe HPCE® cable assembly is a
nnnnnext-generation power cable assembly for
nnnndemanding applications requiring high linear
nnnncurrent density and low power loss. It offers
nnnnboth one-piece (cable to card edge) and
nnnntwo-piece (cable to header) solutions. Both
nnnnhave a low profile height (7.5mm) and are
nnnnbased on very cost-effective and highly
nnnnreliable stamped-and-formed power contact
nnnntechnology similar to other power solutions
nnnnfrom FCI.
nnnnThe HPCE® cable assembly incorporates an
nnnninnovative power contact and housing
nnnndesign that permits a more compact and
nnnnlower profile package for demanding AC and
nnnnDC power distribution applications. HPCE®
nnnncable assembly offers low profile height (for
nnnnmaximized airflow), significantly increased
nnnnlinear current density and low contact
nnnnresistance characteristics make it ideal for
nnnnnext generation 1U/2U servers, storage
nnnnenclosures, telecommunications equipment
nnnnand datacom/networking equipment.
