nnnnMS11 Contact Pressure Gauge (for heavy measuring conditions)
nnnnCD
nnnnQ
nnnnApplication
nnnnContact pressure gauge, especially sui-
nnnnted for heavy measuring conditions, e.g.
nnnnin case of pressure shocks, vibration,
nnnnnumerous or exacting breaking capaci-
nnnnty. The separated drive of the indication
nnnnand switching function guarantees a
nnnnhigh operation safety.
nnnnThe pressure chamber and the measu-
nnnnring diaphragm are available in different
nnnnmaterials to meet various requirements.
nnnnApplication Fields
nnnn• winning of drinking water
nnnn• process technology
nnnn• terotechnology
nnnn• water economy
nnnn• pneumatic transporter
nnnnConstruction and Operation
nnnnThe measuring system is based on a
nnnnrugged and uncomplicated diaphragm
nnnnmovement, suitable for overpressure
nnnnand partial vacuum pressure measure-
nnnnments. In a state of equilibrium, the
nnnnforces of the springs on both sides of the
nnnndiaphragm are balanced. The pressure
nnnnto be measured creates an unbalanced
nnnnforce at the diaphragm. This force mo-
nnnnves the diaphragm system against the
nnnnforce of the springs for the measuring
nnnnrange until a new equilibrium is rea-
nnnnched.
nnnnWhen subjected to excessive pressure,
nnnnthe diaphragm rests on metal supporting
nnnnplates. A centre-mounted tappet trans-
nnnnfers the motion of the diaphragm system
nnnnto the indicator movement and to the in-
nnnnitiating elements of the microswitches.
