PP
Polypropylen besitzt eine gute Steifigkeit,
Härte und Festigkeit, aber eine geringe Kerbschlagzähigkeit.
PP neigt nicht zur Spannungsrissbildung
und ist gut verschweißbar.
Bei Minustemperaturen tritt jedoch eine Versprödung
ein. Die chemischen und elektrischen
Eigenschaften sind sehr gut. Die Dauergebrauchstemperatur
liegt zwischen +5 °C
und ca. +100 °C.
Eigenschaften:
• niedrige Dichte
• hohe Wärmeformbeständigkeit
• hohe Steifigkeit, hohe Oberflächenhärte
• sehr gute Chemikalienbeständigkeit
• geringe Oxidationsbeständigkeit
• geringe Abriebfestigkeit
• spröde in der Kälte
• nicht HF schweißbar
• naturfarben nicht witterungsbeständig
Anwendungsbeispiele:
Pumpen- und Ventilteile, Dichtungen, Träger
in der Beschichtungsindustrie, Distanzhalter
in der Galvanotechnik, Spielzeugteile.
PP-ELS* (elekrisch leitfähig)
Variante des PP-H’s mit verbesserter elektrischen
Leitfähigkeit.
Durchgangswiderstand 106 Ù,
Oberflächenwiderstand 106 Ù.

PP-30GF
Das mit 30% Glasfaser verstärkte PP besitzt
eine gesteigerte Dimensionsstabilität, eine
sehr hohe Steifigkeit und hohe Wärmeformbeständigkeit
HDT/B +155 °C, die zusätzliche
Anwendungen erschließen.
PP-30PET-F
Das mit 30% PET Faser verstärkte PP zeichnet
sich aus durch eine optimierte Steifigkeit bei
gleichzeitig verbesserter Kerbschlagzähigkeit.
Eigenschaften:
• sehr gutes Steifigkeits-Zähigkeits-Verhältnis
• griffige Oberfläche
• splitterfreies Bruchverhalten für passive
Sicherheit
• bei -30 °C bessere Schlagzähigkeit als z.B. PC
• höhere Wärmeformbeständigkeit als z.B. PP
• höhere Steifigkeit als z.B. PP und PA
• PET-Fasern verringern die Kerbempfindlichkeit
• gute akustische Eigenschaften (gute Dämfung,
geringere Geräuschemission)
• Klebemöglichkeit gegeben
Anwendungsbeispiele:
Bürsten- und Walzenherstellung, Pumpenund
Ventilteile.

PP
Polypropylene shows a high mechanical
strength and a tensile strength, but a low
notched impact strength. PP resists stress
cracking and it is easy to weld. At minus
temperatures it can get brittle. The chemical
and electrical properties are very good. The
continous operating temperatures ranges
between +5 °C and +100 °C.
Properties:
• low weight
• high heat resistance
• high tensile strength, high surface strength
• high chemical resistance
• low oxidation resistance
• low abrasion resistance
• brittle in the coldness
• HF-welding not possible
• natural color is not weather resistant
Applications:
Pumps, valves, gaskets, supporting stands
for the coating industry, spacer for the plating,
particles for toys.
PP-ELS* (electrically conductive)
PP-H with improved electronical conductivity.
Volume resistivity 106 Ù,
Surface resistivity 106 Ù.
A higher stability in contrast to the standard

PP-30GF
The 30% glass fibre reinforced PP has an
improved dimensional stability, very high
stiffness and heat resistance HDT/B +155 °C
that opens up additional applications.
PP-30PET-F
The 30% PET fibre reinforced PP is characterised
by an optimised stiffness with an improved
notched impact strength at the same
time.
Properties:
• the relation between mechanical strength
and impact strength is very high
• a handy surface
• the fracture behavior is splinter-proof for
passive safety
• better impact strength at -30 °C as e.g. PC
• higher heat resistance as e.g. PP
• higher tensile strength as e.g. PP and PA
• PET-fibres decreases the notched sensitivity
• good acoustic characteristics (good
absorbability, lower emission of noise)
Applications:
Production of brushes and barrels, pumps
and valve parts.

PP
Le polypropylène possède une bonne rigidité,
dureté et solidité, mais une faible résistance
aux chocs. Le PP ne se fissure pas sous
tensions et est facile à souder. Toutefois, une
fragilisation se manifeste à des températures
inférieures à 0 °C. Les propriétés chimiques
et électriques sont très bonnes. La température
d’utilisation en continu est comprise entre
+5 °C et env. +100 °C.
Propriétés :
• Faible densité
• Résistance élevée à la déformation
thermique
• Rigidité élevée, grande dureté de la surface
• Très bonne stabilité chimique
• Faible résistance à l’oxydation
• Faible résistance à l’abrasion
• Fragile au froid
• Non soudable à HF
• Coloris naturels non résistants aux
intempéries
Exemples d’application :
Pièces de pompes et de soupapes, joints,
supports dans l’industrie d’enduction, pièces
d’écartement en galvanoplastie, composants
de jouets.
PP-ELS* (à conductibilité électrique)
Variante du PP-H à conductibilité électrique
améliorée. Résistance volumique de 106 Ù,
résistance de surface de 106 Ù.
Plus grande solidité que le PP standard.
PP-30GF
Le PP renforcé à 30% fibres de verre possède
une plus grande stabilité dimensionnelle, une
rigidité très élevée et une résistance importante
à la déformation thermique HDT/B +155 °C
qui autorisent des applications complémentaires.
PP-30 PET-F
Le PP renforcé à 30% fibres PET se distingue
par une rigidité optimisée et une meilleure
résistance aux chocs.
Propriétés :
• Très bon rapport rigidité / ténacité
• Surface à bonne adhérence au toucher
• Comportement à la rupture exempte d’éclats
pour sécurité passive
• Meilleure résistance aux chocs à -30 °C
que le PC, entre autres
• Meilleure résistance à la déformation
thermique que le PP, entre autres
• Rigidité plus élevée que le PP et le PA,
entre autres
• Les fibres PET réduisent la sensibilité aux
chocs
• Bonnes propriétés acoustiques (bon amortissement,
émissions acoustiques moins
élevées)
• Possibilité de collage
