scanning with accuracy and durable design for harsh
environments

Industrie Design

Boasting plenty of rubber and a protected window, this
rugged scanner can withstand repeated drops of up to 183
cm (6 feet), wind and rain, off road vehicle vibration levels
and below freezing temperatures. The working ambient
temperature is between -20 °C and + 40 °C.

The ergonomic design and the weight of 185 g will provide
easy working. Addidional, the wide trigger and the internal
puch-button schwitch allows easy scanning with gloves.

Two Technologies available

The HS153.0 (Laser) has a scan rate of 36 Scans per
second, reaches with standard optic a scan range of 124
cm and a barcode resolution of 0,125 mm (5 mil). Moreover
there are "long range", "high visibility", and a "high density"version available.
The all purpose HS153.1 with CCD technique combines
high sensitivity of 0,05 mm (2 mil) and a reading distance
of 50 cm with a scan rate of 270 Scans/s. Reading from a
display or a screen is no problem.

The HS153 is available with a laser scan engine or a CCDscan engine with new VISTATM- Technology. The laser scan
head HS153.0 can be applied with 4 different optics suitable
for different ranges and barcode resolutions. The CCDscan engine HS153.1 is not only a low cost variant. Its
Imager - scan engine uses with the patended VISTATMtechnology and reads barcode in a distance up to 50 cm!
