UniFlow SE Dual Entry Air By-Pass hoods are ideal for demonstrations or applications where observation and
access is required from both sides of the fume hood. Dual Entry hoods are available in 48”, 60”, 72”, & 96”
widths and in 30”, 36” & 48” depths. They can be positioned on an island on in peninsular locations. Dual Entry
hoods can be located on a common wall of two rooms with accessibility from either room.

Meets U.L.1805, and NFPA-45 classication
with ame spread of less than 25 per ASTM
E-84.

Access Panel removable to access ducting
connections and electrical services from a single
point electrical box,115V/60Hz AC operation.
Full 30” Viewing Height Sash

with 28.5” sash opening height for ease of access
and viewing tall apparatus setup. Sash is 3/16
thick tempered safety glass, with chemical resistant
non-metallic PVC framing track and aerodynamic
sash lift. Sash handle for efcient air ow and ease
of movement. Standard horizontal sash, optional
vertical sash, specify sash for each side.

Air Flow Monitor continuously monitors
face velocity airow, analog or digital
available. Meets ANSI and OSHA
requirements. Optional equipment.

Angled Picture Frame Opening

the aerodynamic face opening with air foil
provides uniform air ow into the fume
chamber and thru the VaraFlow bafe system
to the bell shaped exhaust collar.

Plumbing Fixtures are color coded to

specic service.

SASH OPTIONS

HORIZONTAL MOVING SASHES
The standard sash for HEMCO dual entry fume
hoods. The maximum sash opening for the
horizontal sash is 1/2 that of the vertical sashes.
The smaller opening, means less air exhausted
resulting in energy savings.

OPTIONAL VERTICAL
MOVING SASHES The optional sash
for HEMCO dual entry fume hoods. The
sash may be lifted to the completely open
position for maximum access tho the fume
chamber. Sash stops available.

The AFA 1000/1/Mk2 model is a
ush mounted airow monitor
for Fume Hoods. It features a
back lit display which displays
the airow velocity or Air
Flow status. When the alarm
is activated, the display will
alternate between the airow
velocity and the alarm condition.
• Password protected push button set-up and calibration
menus with on screen instructions
• Unit is mounted on the face of the fume hood side wall
at a convenient viewing height.
