TECHWELD™ MULTI-STRIKE™ TUNGSTENS
Multi-Strike™ Tungstens contain no thoria or other radioactive
elements that are harmful to health.
As IS WELL documented thoriated tungstens are radioactive
and carcinogenic and have to be stored and handled in special
conditions.
When ground, thoriated tungstens need special precautions to be taken to prevent inhalation
of the dust.
Using Multi-Strike™ tungstens eliminates the dangers connected with radioactive materials and
they can give up to ten times the life of Thoriated Electrodes.
Techweld™ Multi-Strike Tungsten Electrodes are the worlds leading non-thoriated tungsten electrode and can be used for all
applications including the welding of aluminiums, steels, alloys and any other TIG weldable materials and are totally traceable.
TECHWELD™ TEG-3 TUNGSTEN ELECTRODE GRINDER
Techweld™ Tungsten Electrode Grinders give TIG and
Plasma electrodes a consistent longitudinal grind, with
a smooth diamond ground finish which ensures weld
consistency by eliminating arc flicker and arc wander.
An HFT grinder is a valuable tool for both automated and
manual welding in today's workshop. This tried and proven
modern unit has a grinding wheel life of 3 man years.
Available with an optional, low cost, vacuum dust extraction
system mounted on the side, powered by compressed air
or gas to eliminate extra motors or moving parts and to provide a longer trouble free life.
The dust is drawn into a see through collection bowl which can be easily removed for the
collected dust to be disposed of as necessary. The collected dust cannot prevent continuous and perfect dust collection and it
cannot be drawn into the vacuum system.
