nnnnGENERAL DESCRIPTION
nnnnMcPherson, Inc. Vis IR Spectrophotometers can be
nnnnequipped in a variety of ways. We have routine reflecto-
nnnnmeters and special versions for vacuum ref lectometry.
nnnnWe can equip these systems with any monochromator
nnnnfrom our line so you can specify the wavelength resolu-
nnnntion and bandpass you need.
nnnnM
nnnnVis IR Reflectance and Transmittance Spectrophotom-
nnnneter features continuously adjustable sample and
nnnndetector angles. The reflectometer is easy to use and
nnnnthe new, stabilized single beam spectrophotometer
nnnnprovides improved measurement precision. The double
nnnnmonochromator consists of a prism predisperser
nnnncombined with the monochromator. This assures low
nnnnlevels of stray light, provides uncontaminated spectra,
nnnnand eliminates filters. SNAP IN gratings and
nnnnthermoelectrically cooled detectors permit operation
nnnnfrom 190 to 350-nm with Deuterium and 350 to 2500-nm
nnnnwith tungsten sources. Bilaterally adjustable slits allow
nnnnthe user to adjust bandpass for the measurements
nnnnrequirement.
nnnnThe Vis IR Spectrophotometer is complete with inte-
nnnngrated software controls of all acquisition functions.
nnnnData is displayed during scans and extensive post
nnnnprocessing arithmetic, display and plotting capabilities
nnnnare included.
