AIR-COOLED CONVEYOR-CURE IRRADIATORS
American Ultraviolet’s Air-Cooled CONVEYOR-CURE
Ultraviolet Curing Irradiator systems meet all application
criteria. CONVEYOR-CURE Irradiators are designed for
research laboratory use, curing ultraviolet inks, coatings
and adhesives, retrofitting to existing conveyors and infrared
ovens, or integration into American Ultraviolet variable
speed conveyorized curing systems.
CONVEYOR-CURE Irradiators are constructed totally
of extruded aluminum. The side extrusion housing
incorporates optical shielding mounts for personal safety
and ease of operation. The exclusive heat sink fin is of
extruded aluminum. The reflector holder dissipates heat
and prevents polished aluminum reflector distortion.
The custom U.L.-approved, key-locked, highvoltage/high-temperature silicone wire connector is
utilized between power supply and irradiator.

Centrally located cooling fans keep the ultraviolet curing
lamps at optimum temperature for all curing applications.
Relamping is accomplished by lifting the top cover of
the irradiator while the side extrusions and shielding remain
stationary.
CONVEYOR-CURE Irradiators will accommodate
200/300 and 400W/in. ultraviolet curing lamps. American
Ultraviolet curing lamps are designed with output between
185 and 400 nanometer ultraviolet curing range and a useful
life of 1000 hours.
CONVEYOR-CURE Power Supplies are completely wired
and clearly labeled for operational ease. All power supplies
incorporate high/low optional lamp intensity
control at 200W/in. and tri-power switching on 300 and
400W/in. systems.
