Sometimes it takes both a Pre-Cleaner and
a Secondary-Cleaner
Fine material residues may sometimes still cling to
the belt after the Pre-Cleaner. This may be due to the
material fractions being conveyed, adhesion, or belt
speed. In these cases one or more fines cleaners
should follow the Pre-Cleaner. Trellex T-Cleaner is a
secondary scraper that can be used together with a
Pre-Cleaner for highest cleaning efficiency or as a
single scraper if the transported material is dry and
fine.

Different blades for optimal performance in
all applications
The scraper blade is available in two different versions.
The HMS blade has an edge of tungsten carbide. This
blade has excellent wear resistance and is recommended for conveyors transporting abrasive materials in mining and quarries. The HS blade has an edge
of heat-treated steel. This blade is recommended for
the pulp and paper industry where less abrasive
material is transported.

Flexible mounting for highest efficiency
The metal part is vulcanized into rubber on both types
of blades, which allows each blade to move individually
for highest efficiency. The individual blades are
mounted in an aluminum cassette, which makes blade
replacement quick and easy. The T-cleaner is installed
perpendicular to the belt, right after the point where
the belt leaves the drive pulley, and a self adjusting
spring tensioner type N is used to keep correct blade
to belt contact pressure. Trellex T-Cleaner also works
well on reversible belts.
