SureMix™ 2K
Dispensing System
Combining gear-metering technology with compact size
for precision and control in dispensing two-component materials
Features and Benefits
t Compact, flexible design allows system to be
positioned close to dispense point for superior tt
material control and better response time compared t
to pressure-fed systems. Allows for easy installation t
into existing production cells.
SureMix™ 2K System
controls ensure excellent
ratio control and adjustability for bonding and
sealing operations using
two-component materials.
t Dispense control accuracy of + or - 5 percent.
t Precise dispensing results in accurate bead profiles, t
shot weights and material savings.
t Multiple temperature and mounting configurations t
provide application versatility for a wide variety of t
ambient and temperature-conditioned applications t
and a wide range of flow rates.
t Proportional output is synchronized with a control t
signal to match robot or line speeds.
The Nordson® SureMix™ 2K system combines gear-metering
technology with compact size to provide unmatched precision
and control in dispensing two-component materials. The
system is designed for flexible installation and will provide
excellent ratio control and adjustability for your critical
bonding and sealing operations.
The SureMix™ 2K system
Available for both manual and automatic applications
Offers a variety of options for bulk material supply
and monitoring
Compact design and flexible mounting allows metering t
units to be close to the point of dispense
– Minimizes effects of supply system pressure
variations, material viscosity changes and drops
in system pressure due to material output.
– Allows for flexibility when installed into existing
production cells.
With the SureMix™ module, you’ll achieve precision bead profiles,
precise shot weights, and material savings.
Precise Metering
Positive-displacement, spur gear pumps are linked to an encoder
feedback servo drive within the SureMix™ module. This control
method provides precise volumetric output.
Spur gear design eliminates side loads, which can
t lead to premature wear.
Analog input allows synchronization with automation speed tt
t when the dispense valve is mounted on a robot, or line speed tt
t when the valve is used in a stationary position.
Synchronization allows material flow to remain proportionate
t to speed, assuring uniform material deposition.
