The ArcWorld C-50 series workcells feature an extremely compact footprint with fixed tooling or servo-driven headstock(s). These single station (AWC-50/50S) or dual station (AWC-52/52S) workcells provide affordable, wire-to-weld solutions for small- to medium-sized parts at high production volumes.
The AWC-50 series feature the high-speed MA1400 arc welding robot; DX100 controller with menu-driven arc welding application software; integrated welding package; integrated tooling or one or two MH-180 headstocks; operator station; one or two powered roll-up doors; and total safety environment –
all the automation required for robotic arc welding.
Easy Setup
n Workcell is shipped pre-assembled on a common base.
n Power supplies and controller are on a sub-base which can be pulled out for servicing access.
n Twist-lock connectors are included
on all interconnection cables.
High-Speed Robots
n Available with an MA1400
“Master Arc” welding robot.
n MA-series robots are backed by the industry’s only two-year torch cable warranty.
n Motion speed of the robot axes is up to 40 percent faster due to cutting-edge motor control technology.
n Unique 7-axis VA1400 robot can provide additional application flexibility in the dual station AWC-52
and AWC-52S workcells. The added
“elbow” axis allows it to easily bend around the center partition.
DX100 Controller
n Windows® CE programming pendant with color touch screen,
fast processing, easy-to-use INFORM III programming language and robust PC architecture.
n Menu-driven arc welding software including graphic diagram of weld parameter settings.
n Safety features – enhanced dual-channel E-Stop functionality, integrated speed monitoring, manual
brake release for the robot, and compliance with both U.S. and Canadian safety standards.
Part Positioning
n The AWC-50 models include a single welding station with fixed tooling (AWC-50) or a servo-driven
MH-180 headstock (AWC-50S)
n Dual-station models are available with fixed tooling (AWC-52) or with two MH-180 headstocks (AWC-52S).
n MH-180: 180-kg (396.9 lb) payload overhung 200 mm from the faceplate. Due to high capacity, tailstocks are not needed in this compact cell.
n Tooling risers are provided for the fixed-station workcells. Dowel pins can be used for changeover between multiple parts/fixtures.
n Single large tabletop (AWC-50) or two smaller tabletops (AWC-52) are available as options.
n Powered roll-up doors improve operator ergonomics.
n Robot operation is interlocked with roll-up doors to safeguard the operator during part load/unload.
n Dual-station eliminates sweep time of part positioner.
