nnnnHiPOx is an enabling advanced oxidation process (AOP) technology developed
nnnnfor the specific challenges of municipal and industrial water reuse. HiPOx is the
nnnnfirst and only ozone-based disinfection technology accepted by the California
nnnnDepartment of Public Health for unrestricted water reuse under the Title 22
nnnnregulation. HiPOx is also the only ozone-based disinfection technology with
nnnnbromate control capability - a necessary feature for both indirect and direct
nnnnpotable reuse applications.
nnnnPathogens and contaminants are destroyed via an oxidation chain-reaction
nnnnwith ozone, peroxide, or the hydroxyl radical (OH ), the most powerful oxidant
nnnnavailable for water treatment. By employing a high efficiency compact reactor
