nnnnThe AL450 is a contemporary, microprocessor-controlled
nnnnphotometer with economically designed keypad and large-
nnnnformat graphic display. It is equipped with a wide range of
nnnnpre-programmed methods based on the proven range of
nnnnAQUALYTIC® tablet reagents, liquid reagents, tube tests and
nnnnpowder reagents (VARIO Powder Packs). Users can also store
nnnntheir own methods.
nnnnThe AL450 is a filter photometer using interference filters at ó
nnnndifferent wavelengths. The unique design of the optics allows
nnnnthe automatic selection of the required wavelength without
nnnnany moving parts. This and the dual beam technology utilizing
nnnnan internal reference channel, guarantees the highest accu-
nnnnracy.
nnnnFor portable use, the Instrument operates with seven standard
nnnnrechargeable batteries (supplied). These batteries are availa-
nnnnble all over the world and are easily changed. The integrated
nnnnintelligent charge controller allows simultaneous operation of
nnnnthe unit and battery charging (using the supplied power pack)
nnnnThe AL450 also operates without a power pack by using alkali-
nnnnne manganese batteries.
nnnnThe entire Instrument, including sample chamber (the most
nnnncritical component of any photometer) and battery compart-
nnnnment. Is waterproof, ensuring that no water comes In contact
nnnnwith the electronic components.
