nnnnNote .The self-regulating properties of PTC, the electrical power consuption decreases when temperature grows up
nnnnIMPORTANT NOTES
nnnni Wattages from 15-200 • Bright/black anodization
nnnni Japanese version, 100 Volt available
nnnni Products represent standard only, all other wattage and length scheduling available
nnnni Lightened aluminium profile available
nnnnPTC based convection heaters for
nnnncontrolling the formation of condensation
nnnnwithin electrical cabinets or for using in
nnnnareas subjected to the action of frost or
nnnnice formation.
nnnn• Compact heaters from 15 to 150 W;
nnnn• IP65 protection type;
nnnn• Seawater resistance anodized aluminium;
nnnn• Ready to install;
nnnn• Custom sizing and power for all applications.
nnnnINSTALLATION NOTES
nnnn• Big cabinets need more heating power and
nnnnrequire multiple heaters ( parallel connection ).
nnnnAsk us about specific power and length;
nnnn• To maximize convection effect prefer a
nnnnvertical installation and ensure a minimum
nnnnclearance of 50 mm around heaters;
nnnn• PTC based heaters are self- power and
nnnntemperature limiting appliances. No additional
nnnnsafety devices are normally needed;
nnnn• Use a hygrostat/thermostat for triggering
nnnn■M heating at a preset level of relative
nnnn||y humidity/cabinet-temperature ( keep
nnnnON heating circuit even when cabinet is
nnnnpowered OFF).
nnnnPOWER CALCULATION
nnnn• Use the following formula to calculate the
nnnnrequired electrical heating power:
nnnnP = K x S x At
nnnnP-> required heating power in Watt;
nnnnK-> transfer coefficient in W/m2 °C;
nnnnDepending on cabinet material:
nnnnK = 3,5 W/m2°C polyester cabinet;
nnnnK = 3J W/m2°C stainless steel cabinet
nnnnK = 5,5 W/m2°C painted sheet cabinet;
nnnnK= 12 W/m2°C aluminium cabinet.
nnnnS-> equivalent cabinet surface in ml;
nnnnAt-> required temperature difference between
nnnninternal (target) and external cabinet
nnnntemperature.
nnnnMOUNTING OPTIONS
nnnnClips to a
nnnn35 mm DIN rail;
nnnn• Screw mounted (four mounting holes);
nnnnPlease ask us for special fastening options.
