nnnnThe VMAX™ Linear Vibrator operates with low noise
nnnnlevels and high force outputs and accommodates
nnnnthe most demanding of applications. Special end
nnnnmounts, dual ports and a totally enclosed housing
nnnnmake it one of the most unique linear vibrators on
nnnnthe market. With a state-of-the-art piston design,
nnnnthe VMAX linear vibrator does not require a spring
nnnnto start and is centrifugally balanced, which
nnnnprolongs the life and increases the force output
nnnnover conventional models. The VMAX vibrator
nnnncomes in a variety of sizes to suit almost every
nnnnapplication, big and small.
nnnnThe VMAX vibrator is suitable for many different
nnnnapplications, including vibratory conveying,
nnnnvibratory compacting and discharging of either dry
nnnnor wet difficult to handle bulk solids from bins and
nnnnhoppers. The VMAX linear vibrator is versatile
nnnnwith regard to most applications because its force
nnnnoutput can be adjusted for a wide range of
nnnnrequirements by simply increasing the compressed
nnnnair pressure and/or volume using conventional
nnnnlow cost air or electrical controls. The flexibility
nnnnand range of the VMAX linear vibrator can be
nnnnenhanced considerably by utilizing a two mass
nnnndesign, where the output force can be multiplied
nnnnnumerous times its normal maximum output. The
nnnnVMAX linear vibrator can also be used to compact
nnnnmaterials when filling containers to achieve
nnnnmaximum space utilization and save shipping
nnnncosts.
nnnnWhen designed into a vibratory conveyor for
nnnninstance, the VMAX linear vibrator has tremendous
nnnncost and performance advantages over using an
nnnnelectric vibrating motor for the drive mechanism.
nnnnThis is because the VMAX linear vibrator starts and
nnnnstops quickly and smoothly and is more controlled
nnnnfor significantly better performance. It does not go
nnnnthrough a violent resonance phase like an electric
nnnnvibrating motor. When an electric vibrating motor
nnnnstarts and/or stops, it goes through what is called a
nnnnresonance phase, where the frequency of the
nnnnvibrating system is at the natural frequency of the
nnnnsuspension. When this happens, amplification of
nnnnmovement occurs and the conveyor reacts violently.
nnnnIn addition, this violent movement takes some time
nnnnto settle down and fully stop, which is not only
nnnndetrimental for many applications, but can be
nnnncostly to resolve as well.
nnnnAlso, because the VMAX linear vibrator operates
nnnnwith compressed air, it is a natural for explosion
nnnnproof applications and much safer to use. When
nnnnused with filtered and lubricated compressed air,
nnnnthe VMAX linear vibrator requires only minimal
nnnnmaintenance.
