The folding stair allows easy and safe access to the top containers from a fixed loading access platform.
The working area is clearly marked off by a safety cage made of steel and in full compliance with the latest
EN10027-1 latest safety standards.
The standard safety cage is available in two sizes: 1,5 m x 1,5 m x 0,9 m and 2,8 m x 1,5 m x 0,9 m. Please
note that dimensions can be tailored to meet your specific needs in this regard.
The professional who has to access to the top of tank containers therefore works in the safest environment
possible.
In its standard version, the folding stair comes in
several versions and is offered with up to six 311/2
wide grating non slip steps. Please note width and
characteristics may be adapted on request). The
temporary safety cage comes in different shapes and
dimensions to offer you the most suited solution.
With such folding stair, optimum safety is provided
when accessing the top of tank containers during
loading/unloading processes but also on a number of
industrial operations including (dome opening for
fresh air introduction, connection of miscellaneous
accessories, sampling, cleaning operations and
inspection processes).
The folding stair may be manually or pneumatically
operated. Please note that PACQUET SOLUTIONS
pneumatic solution support programme when the
safety cage exceeds 2,8 m.
Locking in parking position is ensured by a manually actuated mechanical spring device.
The last step is rubber-coated: the tanker will thus not end up damaged when joining the folding
stair.
