Proven technology for fast, “One-Pass” inspections
For nuclear power plant steam generator tubes, Zetec’s X-Probe design uses a
combination of bobbin and array technologies to provide quick, simple, and
comprehensive “One-Pass” inspections. Inspection strategies using the more efcient
X-Probe technique have successfully proven to replace the need for the conventional
bobbin with follow up diagnostic MRPC testing approach. On new steam generators,
X-Probes are extremely effective for establishing a more conclusive pre-service
inspection baseline which can be used for future inspection comparisons and better
plant condition monitoring.
