Bellingham + Stanley has been
manufacturing refractometers and
polarimeters for 95 years. The B+S network
of distributors has been carefully selected
to provide technical support both before
and after the sale and the range of products
available is summarised in this brochure.

RFM700 Series Refractometers
Robust, high quality, low cost
instruments designed specifically
for factory and laboratory use.
RFM700 models provide
Brix and other scales up
to two decimal places
without the need for
temperature control.
RFM700 refractometers
are ideal for use in sugar,
beverage, food and wine
applications.

RFM300+ Refractometer
Designed as a
replacement for earlier
world leading RFM300
instruments, the latest
models feature a flat
prism dish, wider
refractive index range
and Peltier temperature
control; making them
ideal for use in wet factory
environments and the
laboratory alike.
Special attention has been paid
to the Peltier control system. Samples of different
temperature are quickly stabilised and when using
the Smart temperature stability mode, results are only
shown when both the temperature and reading are
within predefined limits. Results are clearly displayed
on the instrument screen in a number of scales all
accessed by a simple method system, whilst up to
4096 readings may be stored within the instrument
memory together with date, time & batch number.
Users of earlier models will easily recognise the
onboard software, which can now be configured in a
number of different languages.

ADP400 Series Polarimeters
Polarimeters for sugar,
food, chemical and
pharmaceutical
applications. The
ADP410 is a low
cost polarimeter whilst
the ADP440+ offers 3-decimal
measurement in accordance with
USP and complies with the operational
requirements of FDA regulation 21CFR Part 11.

Hand held Refractometers
Being manufactured in the UK
and sealed to IP66, the
Eclipse range of hand held
refractometers offer reliability
and ease of use. E-line
refractometers are available
in various scale ranges and
offer a lower cost alternative
to the Eclipse, whilst the digital
OPTi series provide temperature
compensated readings without the
need for optical measurement.

RFM900 Series Refractometers
Offering a wide measuring range (1.30-1.70 RI), shallow
prism dish and Peltier temperature control, RFM900
refractometers are suitable for use in aroma, fragrance,
flavour, petrochemical, chemical, and pharmaceutical
industries as well as institutes of technology.
For pharmaceutical applications, RFM900
refractometers comply with the operational
requirements of FDA regulation 21 CFR Part 11, USP/
EP/BP and feature RFID tags for rapid identification and
clearance of operators.
RFM900 refractometers
also conform to ASTM
D 5006, 1747 and
1218 for the
petrochemical
industry.
