Fisher 1051 and 1052 spring-return diaphragm rotary

nnnn

actuators operate splined shaft rotary valves, such as

nnnn

eccentric disc (8510B and 8560), 8532 and 9500,

nnnn

CV500 and V500 and Vee-Ball ™ (VI50, V200 and

nnnn

V300) valves. 1051 and 1052 actuators are both

nnnn

suitable for on-off service or for throttling service. The

nnnn

primary difference between these actuators is that the

nnnn

1052 actuator has a spring adjuster (see figure 1)

nnnn

which means it may be used with or without a

nnnn

positioner, depending on service requirements. The

nnnn

1051 actuator, in throttling service, is normally

nnnn

equipped with a valve positioner. Refer to separate

nnnn

bulletins for valve and positioner information.

nnnn

Both actuator types are designed for easy installation

nnnn

of a broad range of options: limit switches, position

nnnn

indicating switches, positioners, and manual

nnnn

over-rides. Option applicability varies with actuator

nnnn

size. Refer to the specifications table and table 4 for

nnnn

information concerning option applicability and

nnnn

specifications.

■ Application Flexibility-1051 and 1052 rotary

actuators are available with fail-open or fail-close

nnnn

construction and can be mounted in any of four

nnnn

actuator-valve mounting positions. See figure 7 for

nnnn

mounting positions. These actuators can be

nnnn

mounted on a broad range of Fisher valves (style F

nnnn

or G mounting), or used with other equipment

nnnn

(style H or J mounting).

■ Minimal Dead Band-Single joint linkage with

splined and clamped lever minimizes lost motion

nnnn

and improves control accuracy.

■ Long Service Life- Rugged construction provides

stability, corrosion resistance, and protection from
