Improving the Accuracy of Gas Analysis
Gas purication begins by determining the contaminants that need to be removed from the particular gas stream, levels to which the
contaminants must be reduced, ow and pressure needs of the system, and the desired frequency of purier change-out. Multiple
puriers may be necessary to remove the desired levels of contaminants to adequately protect the column and detector.
Gas Traps eliminate inaccurate results due to contaminated gases which are not suitable for the application and also
prevents analyser down time as a result.

AGC Moisture Traps
The Molecular Sieve 5A eciently removes moisture and heavy
hydrocarbons from compressed air, electrolytically produced
hydrogen, nitrogen, or other gases with high moisture or
hydrocarbon content. Depending on the application three
dierent traps are availble with a 200cc, 750cc and an S-Trap
which has an extended bed length for prolonged contact between
the gas and the adsorbent and therefore provides greater working
capacity.
