PMD and PDL Calibration Standards
PMD and PDL are important considerations in many applications,
especially high data-rate communications. With the development of
high precision test equipment and tighter-tolerance systems, a need has
arisen for extremely precise calibration standards. General Photonics offers a
range of calibration standards for DGD, second order PMD, and PDL. The accuracy of
the standards is assured by the intrinsic optical and birefringence properties of the materials
used in their construction.
