Maxi-Grinder
Thanks to Maxi-Grinder, one person alone
can grinds and homogeneizes 600 bulk seed samples
per day.
The blades, the shafts and the lid of the pots, that are in contact
with the samples, are automatically washed and
decontaminated in the Maxi-grinder.
Many kind of matrix are thoroughli ground. Besides grains,
nutmeg, cocoa bean, animal food, wheat straw with ear,
frozen meat, chocolate and almond at ultra low temperature
The operating and maintenance costs are low. It’s not necessary
to sharpen the blades. Up to 1000, 1,3kg of clean corn
samples can be ground without blade replacement.
Five grinding programs and five washing programs can be stored
in the memory of the industrial automate that control the
Maxi-Grinder.
Maxi-Grinder is in accordance with machine safety rules. It’s very
simple to master.
Maxi-Grinder description
- Maxi-Grinder is a high throughput blade multi grinder, absolutely
safe for the users. It includes 12, 1800W motors, each one
spinning a shaft with a removable blade, at high speed.
- A lid stops up the 12 grinding pots, when they are loaded into
the machine. There is no dust emission during operations.
- A tray moving up and down, supports a tank with a front door.
The tank accommodates the grinding pots on their rack.
Maxi-Grinder main features
- The grinding pots are made of two parts : The stainless steel
barrel, and the plastic bottom that includes the device for opening
and closing of the sampling holes. The holes are adapted to the
needs of the users.
Assembling the two parts is fast and easy. This configuration
allows thorough washing and decontamination of the pots, in a
washing machine. The pots are placed on a rack carried by a cart,
for loading of the samples and effortless loading the pots into
Maxi-Grinder.
It grinds and homogenizes up to 12 bulk seed samples
simultaneously in 2 minutes, without risk of cross
contamination neither between the samples of a batch
nor between the samples of successive batches.
- The automatic washing system is made of a very high pressure
pump and a liquid dispenser in the tank. A liquid detergent can be
added to the water. Ten to fifteen liters of water is enough for a
washing and rising cycle.
For instance, as far as corn or soybean are concerned, the
weight of each sample must be comprised between
100g and 1300g.
- The Maxi-Grinder functions are controlled by an industrial
automate. Some functions are only accessible by authorized
persons, like protocol programming and hand operated
movements of Maxi-Grinder parts.
Grinding and homogenization of 1300g of corn, holding a
single transgenic grain, always allow its detection by
PCR.
- The user interface makes the Maxi-Grinder really user friendly.
Sampling of ground remains is automatic and adaptable in
volume, the grinding pots remaining closed.
The Maxi-Grinder® complies with CE standards and main international standards.
