The Alstom Bowl Mill SM-Type design is based on the extremely successful and
widespread Alstom Raymond® bowl mill. Since 1885, the trademark Raymond®
has been standing for quality, innovation and very good grinding results.
In the 1980s and 1990s, an extensive R&D program was executed to meet the expected
market requirements like higher flexibility for varying feed material properties. The
result of that program as well as all subsequent further developments is the today’s
Alstom Bowl Mill SM-Type.
This mill combines grinding performance and reliability with optimal profitability.
