nnnnBiosart® 100 Monitors have been specifically
nnnndesigned for the detection and enumeration
nnnnof microorganisms in beverages, cosmetics,
nnnnfoods, water and other liquids. These sterile
nnnndisposables with an incorporated membrane
nnnnfilter and cellulose pad are ready to use. After
nnnnfiltration, just remove the 100 ml funnel to
nnnnFlow Rate Comparison RO-Water
nnnnconvert the Monitor into a petri dish elimi-
nnnnnating the need for membrane manipulation.
nnnnCulture media for wetting the pad are avail-
nnnnable in individually sterilized, convenient
nnnnplastic ampoules.
nnnnBiosart® 100 Monitors are ready-to-use filter
nnnnunits designed to be placed onto the bases of
nnnna vacuum manifold, eliminating the cleaning
nnnnand sterilization required of reusable funnels.
nnnnHigh Flow membranes
nnnnBiosart® 100 Monitors are also available with
nnnnthe new 0.45 im High Flow membranes. The
nnnnspecial pore structure allows shorter filtration
nnnntimes due to 30% higher flow rates. Especially
nnnnE. coli shows best growth promotion on High
nnnnFlow Membranes.
