SATEL®-321
A Battery Package for the SATELLINE Radio Modems

SATEL-321 battery package, available for SATELLINE radio modem models 2ASc,
2ASxE, 3AS, EASy, 3AS 869, 3AS NMS and 3AS VHF, is helpful when using the
modems in the field. The radio modem fits inside the SATEL-321 casing. The
compact battery package is splash-proof, making an additional weather-resistant box unnecessary.
The total weight of the SATEL-321 including
battery, charger and radio modem is only 1
kg. For easy carrying, the casing is equipped
with a detachable shoulder strap.
SATEL-321 is provided with either RS-232
or RS-485 serial interface, depending of
the need and radio modem to be used. The
push-buttons of SATEL-321 allows the access
to the menu of the radio modems with LCD.

The SATEL-321 batteries can be charged
from whatever power supply that provides
+11…+30 Vdc voltage and minimum 60 W
output power. SATEL offers both a standard
and a car charger. The modem can be used
while charging.
The SATEL-321 casing has indicator lights for
Power On (green), Charging (yellow) and Battery Low (red). Low battery charge level is also
indicated by an audio signal.
SATEL-321 comprises an adaptive capacity
meter, for monitoring the battery condition.
The user can see at any time the remaining
charge level of the battery, when used the modems with LCD.
