The AccelePort Xp delivers fast serial connectivity, broad
application flexibility and superior CPU utilization. Designed
to enhance multiuser implementations, this multiport serial
card is ideal for applications requiring high performance and
reliability, including point-of-sale, industrial control, data
collection and office automation.

The AccelePort Xp has an Application Specific Integrated
Circuit (ASIC) based upon an 80 MHz RISC processor. It offers
921.6 Kbps of bi-directional throughput on each serial port
and has industry leading surge protection on each signal. This
powerful communications adapter provides the highest level of
intelligence and performance available on the market.
PortAssist® Manager, Digi’s web-based management and
reporting software, enables the AccelePort Xp to perform
diagnostics, enhanced network administration and monitoring
on most operating systems. Additional diagnostic and
monitoring tools are available on supported UNIX operating
systems.
