For laboratories of the paint, lacquer and chemical industry to
develop, optimize and correct recipes
The LX5 is our automatic laboratory dispensing system for the
development, optimization and correction of recipes. It is typically used in laboratories of the paint, lacquer and chemical industry executing a high volume of recipes. Precision needle
valves and air nozzles allow for dispensing of smallest quantities and a repeatability of +/- 0,002 g. The system is designed
as compact and modular cabinet which can be extended, depending on the number of components (standard conguration
level is 36 components). The cabinet integrates the component
storage containers, two dispensing points and the transport
robot. Service doors ensure easy access in case of component
change and maintenance.
Storage System
The storage system is composed of easily exchangeable component storage containers which are installed next to each
other at several levels. The XYZ-robot transports the component storage containers between storage position and dispensing position. Pipework is thus not necessary and component
changes can be carried out without time consuming cleaning.
Each component storage container is equipped with a precision
needle valve and will be put under pressure during the dispensing process. When in storage position the needle dips into a
cup lled with appropriate liquid to keep it from drying up.
